4 THE CAILLAUX CHARGEiJ. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW YORK, October 30. The United States Attorney, m a statement, says that Minotto made liis statement regarding the Caillaux-Lux-burg afFair voluntarily, in order to nelp the French and American Governments. The Attorney does not tielieve that Minotto was the conscious agent of the German Government. Very few people seem to be trilling to pay for "Hansard." For the session, of 1917 the number of copies printed was 8000 (sets). The total of subscribers was only 101 (who paid £22 los), an average of one subscriber to 10,000 of the Dominion's population. The average , number of each issue of the "Gazette j was 1690 (including copies for 101 subscribers). During tli& year ended March 31st the Government Printing Office turned oat 1,163,258 sheets of stamps. The total number of stamps was 167,3i18,230, valued at £1,856,470. The office printed 296,320 war loan certificates of a l value of £4,434,000. >
