« At noon yesterday th© positions of the various competing districts in the Tramway Copper Trail were as follows:— I—Pink:1 —Pink: Opavra, St. Martin's, Cashmere, Sydenham. - 3—Buff: Sumner, Lyttelton, Hoathcote, Wools ton. 3 —Green: , Spreydon, Riccartpn, Lincoln road, Coronation street. 4—Blue: North and Sonth Brighton, Dallington, Bromley,. and Lin wood. s—Yellow:- Fcndalton, Papairui. 6—White: Marshland, Cranford street, Edgoware road. "GO AS YOU PLEASE" RACE POSTPONED. The "go aa you please" race, which was to have' been held this afternoon in connexion with tho Tramway Copper Trail, has been postponed on account of the presentation of war decorations to be made by his Excellency the Governor-General at the King Edward Barracks at 2.30 p.m. An auction of surprise packets, caoh containing some article guaranteed to be not lees than ono shilling in value, was held in. Cathedral equ&ro last night -in aid of the Tramway Copper Trail. Mr K. S. McKenzie was the auctioneer and brisk business was
