The acknowledgments from Palestine were most satisfactory to us, as they nearly all mentioned that in the Excessive heat cf their summer, with a temperature nf over 117 degrees, how vex* f y welcome our parcels were to them, it being impossible to get any luxuries apart from lioso wo forwarded. There is no doubt that our cases roach the very j iout trenches, where tve are ntost i.nxious they should get. CHILDREN'S MUSICAL FESTIVAL.—This musical treat is to take place on Wednesday and Thursday next, September 25th and 2Gth, at the Colosseum, at 8 p.m. Tickets may bo obtained from tho secretary at the Depot.
