MAGISTERIAL. (Before Mr S. E. McCarthy, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. A first offender was fined 5s or 24 hours imprisonment. John Paul Howard was fined 20s or seven days' imprisonment for a breach, of his prohibition order. MAINTENANCE. Bernard Noonan (Mr Cassidy), who was £42 10s in arrears on a maintenance order, was ordered to pay off tho arrears at the rate of 10s weekly as well as keeping up payments under tho order, in default threo months' imprisonment. , Harold Cecil Williams was sentenced to a month's imprisonment, in default of payment of arrears on a maintenance order. , T i. Emily Georgina Shearsby (Mr Johnston) proceeded against Frederick Thomas Shearsby _ (Mr Hill) for disobedience of a maintenance order, and defendant applied for the order to 'be cancelled. His application was refused, and ho was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, in default.or payment, and also ordered to find a surety of. £100 that ho would comply with the terms of tho order.
