STRACK—LUCAS. A pretty militaiy wedding took place yesterday attemoon at 'St. Jonn's Ciiurcn, when Lieutenant George titracK, son of Mr ana Mrs Strack,, oi' Wellington, was married to Miss Annie (Bay; ijucas, daugnter of Mr and Mrs C. jLmcas, Opawa. The ceremony was» performed by tne Rev..P. J. Cocks. The ohurch was beautiiuliy decorated with peach blossom and spring flowers. AoOve the bride and bridegroom was a lovely white bell, suspenued from a trail of green leaves. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly gowned in white crepe de chine, embroidered with silver and pearls, and a pearl and diamante girdle. Her coronet of orange blossoms and silver leaves was arranged over a fine tulle veil. She carried a bridal bouquet. She was attended by two bridesmaids—Miss Bear trice Lucas (sister of the bride), who wore a picturesquo frock of pale mauve crepe de chine and ninon, with which was worn a black picture hat lined with mauve georgette and wreathed with small mauve and pink flowers round the crown • and Aliss Rita, Strack (sister of the bridegroom), who wore a dainty frock of palest pink crepe de chine, with a deep vieux rose satin hat, wreathed with small flowers. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet to match her frock. Lieutenant East, a brother officer of the bridegroom, was groomsman, and Private Chappef was best man. The bridegroom was in uniform as well as tho groomsmen. Mrs Lucas (mother of the bride) was in a simple frock of nade green chiffon taffetas, with a hat to mateh, and Mrs Strack (mother of the bridegroom) wore a bottle green gaberdine costume and black hat. After the ceremony a reception was held in Opawa at the residence of the bride's parents, when there were over forty guests, amongst whom were Mrs E. Bruce, Mr and Mrs Holmes, Mr and Mrs Farrow, Mrs Collins, kiss Ida Collins Miss Joy Bowron, Miss Sapsford, Miss Ritchie, Mr and Mrs Robert T\ uson, and the Misses Wilson.
