WAR IN THE AIR.
AIR MINISTRY'S REPORT. (By Cabls.—Press Association.—Copyright.* (Australian and N.Z. Cable Associat.on.) (Received September 4th, 9.5 p.m.) LONDON. September 3. The Air Ministry reports:— "In addition to the morning attack on the aerodrome at Buhl on August 2nd, we attacked during the afternoon the same objective, with very good results, hitting hangars and causing fires. At night we dropped 17 tons and again heavily attacked the Buhl aerodrome, works at Burbach, railways at Saarbrucken, Bhrange trains, and the Bouly aerodrome. Severn! fires were started at Buhl and three hangars were demolished. Ihrect hits were obtained on many others. Our attack was carried out as low as 300 feet. Over 15 tons were dropped on this aerodrome in twenty-four hours. We ■ attacked Bhrange railways at a height i of 90 feet, every bomb directly hitI ting. A fire was started at Burbach j works, and good results were observed. All the British machines returned."
