HOTEL-CLOSING REGULATIONS. !
(FRESff ASSOCIATION TELEORAHJ WELLINGTON, September 4. , •j kotel-cloaing regulation provides that before, upon, or after the' arrival at the ports of Auckland, Wei- ' ceipt of a requisition from the Mini* ter of Defence may give public'noti» ordering all the licensed premises wtuated within the area specified in t/io notice to bo closed. In the case of Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin tho following area may, be specified, viz.; An area having 4 radius of fifteen miles from the chisf post office in the city of Auckland:' Wellington, or Dunedin, as the case: may be. In tlie caße of the arrival of a v*ssel at Lyttelton the area will hove a' radius of fifteen miles from the chief P°st offico ip Chrietchurch. Notices will be displayed near tho entrance to police stations. For the purposes of these regulations the sup- ' plying of intoxicating liquor for pecuniary consideration or on the premises - of a chartered club shall be deemed to/ be a Bale of such liqyor. *
