♦ XEW ZEALAND LADIES' TOURNAMENT, (rOESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, September 4. In tile annual ladies' hookey tournament, which commenced yesterday, Manawatu defeated Wellington A by 8 goals to nil,' and Canterbury defeated Wellington B by. 6 goals to nil. To-day Poverty Bny defeated Wellington A by one goal to nil, and ManavrjUu defeated Wellington ti by 6 goals to 1. Noxt' Saturday a match will take placo at South Pnrk, Hospital corner, between the D.I.C. girls and the D.I.C. boys, who arc to play in skirts.
