Lenin's murderess was Dora KapJan, a well-known Revolutionary, who attempted' to kill Nobitzky, Chief of the Russian Secret Police, in 1907, and was then sentenced to thirteen years' imprisonment. AUSTRIA CLAIMING" AN INDEMNITY. COPENHAGEN, September 2. It is stated in diplomatic circles that Austria is claiming a war indemnity from Russia. ARCHBISHOP ASSASSINATED. COPENHAGEN, September 2. Tlio Red Guards have assassinated the Archbishop of Riga. LENIN REPORTED TO BE LIVING. (United Service.) (Received September 3rd, 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, September 2. A private Bolshevik message reports that Lenin is living, though his condition is critical.
