Litvinoff unless Mr Lockhart is released. M. Litvinoff represents the Bolsheviks in London. Mr Robert Lockhart, British Consul-General at Moscow, was arrested by the Bolsheviks as a reprisal for the alleged firing upon Soviet members at Archangel: but a cable message published yesterday stated that the British and Frencn Consuls had been released. THE CZECHOSLOVAKS. AMSTERDAM. August 12 The "Berliner Tageblntt" states that the Czecho-Slovnk forces have increased to 300.000. and that the situition of the Soviet Government is therefore serious. COPENHAGEN, August 12. German newspapers report that the Bolshevik Government is following Lenin and Trotsky to Kronstadt. The counter-revolutionaries now hold Moscow and a great part of Russia.
