ITALIAN THEATRE.
ENEMY ATTACKS REPULSED. (By Cable.—Presa Association.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, August 9. An Italian official message says:— "We repulsed two attacks at Col del Rosso. Our airships bombed military establishments jt Pola." A British-Italian official message says:— "Our division carried out at night successful simultaneous raids between Asi ago and Canvovo. We inflictedi heavy casualties. Our casualties were light."
ITALIAN OFFICIAL MESSAGE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Eeuter'a ?el«grama.) (Received August 11th, 11.25 p.m.) LONDON, August 10. An Italian official report states: "We. forded the Chiese river in the Daono Valley and surprised a large enemy party, killing some and taking others prisoner. The French deeply penetrated a strong point at Mount Sisemel, destroying or taking prisoner the garrison in raids further east. We inflicted heavy losses."
