WOOLSTON FIRE BOARD
LAST NIGHT'S MEETING.
. A meeting of the Wooleton Fire Board '#w held last night. Preeent—Messrs J, F. Grieraoo (chairman), W. H. Cooper, G. 8. White, J. J. Graham, and T. Champ. ;Th» superintendent submitted his report far the' year ending June 30th, 1918, the third ■ since the Board's inception- Ho stated that ' the'nnmher 61 calls to fires or supposed firee ***• seven, as against nine last year. The estimated fire low for the year was £270, and tiie estimated loss to fire insurance complies £161. The distance covered by Jie Brigade motor wna about 240 miles. The plant was in good working order. The present strength of the Brigado was:—Superintendent, deputy-superintendent, 6 firemen, r and 2 messengers.
