A GREAT EXPLOSION. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) AMSTERDAM, July 24. A tremendous explosion partially destroyed the General Electric Company's factory at Planen, in Saxony. There wero many deaths. austriaFfinance. (Router's Telegrams.) (Received July 25th, 7.20 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, July 24. The Austrian Finance Minister, in introducing the Budget, said the war expenditure for the four years was £1,609,000,000. He estimated that in the fifth year it would reach £500,000,000. The financial situation was serious, but not hopeless.
