WELLINGTON, July 34. The Butter Conference closed without any definite conclusions being reached. It was decided to make a proposal that the 50 per cent, share of the profits on the export of butter shall be divided between the inpphera of the local market and the exporters. The Imperial Supplies Department Sill receive the whole of the 50 per cent, ihsre from the Imperial authorities, and will undertake tho distribution of the money SOODg those entitled to receive it. This proposal will be put before all concerned Shortly. The Dominion Committee is now making the necessary arrangements. Mr A. Morton, chairman of the Dominion Butter Committee, states that an equalisation fund is now in a fair way to be established, whereby the producers who have eacported and those supplying the local market Vill participate. Mr Morton points out that the contract with tho Imperial Government forth* and export of butter expires on 81st July, and subsequent arrangements will be subject to the establishment of an tqtulintion fund, wihch Mr Morton says should dispel any anxiety as to A tho ,lo<»l price* for butter'* not being maintained ai the present rate.
