The secretary was-instructed to send a letter of congratu- ; lation to Mr D. Syk«s, representative on the : Tramway Board, on being returned unoppos- ' ed for the fifth time. Complaints having ■ been received that, on the Coronation street line, passengers were charged 2d to Colombo ' street, the secretary was instructed to moke 1 , representations to Mr D. Sykes in the matIter. It was unanimously agreed to enpport the Borough Council in every nossible way, so os to make the Tramway Copper Trail a success.. Mr F. Brewer addressed the meet- , ing on. municipal and co-operative enterprise, | and was accoided a hearty vote of thanlss. I
