MAYHEW'S BODY FOUND. (STECIAX. TO "THB PRESS.") DUNEDIN, July 23. The police have received informatioif that the dead,body of Onslow Mayhew, for whom they had been searching for somo time past, with a view to hia being charged with tho murder of George Burke, at Kakanui. was found by Mr Macaulay this afternoon. The body waa lying in a dense patch of gorae on the river bank near Gemmell's crossing, with ft rifle _ across it, and there was a bul!et hole in the head. Superintendent Wright and tho Dunedin detectives havo all along held tho opinion that Mayhew lind done away with himself, and that it was only a question of timo when his body would bo found. There was a reward of £60 offered for the rocovery of the body.,
