WAR IN THE AIR.

(Received Jnlv 22nd, 12.5 p.m.) j COPENHAGEN, July 21 British airmen, in the Tondern raid, destroyed a large stock of munitions outside tho town. A violent explosion killed many. Two British machines, owing to lack of benzino and motor trouble, landed on the west coast of Jutland. One"of .the aviators was a New Zealander. It is stated that six German aeroplanes pursued his and two ether machines. Latest advices state that two airmen were interned. A third landed at Guldagor and set fire to his machine. According ;o another correspondent, one landed near llingkjobing, and obtained petrol, hoping to escape. LONDON, July 21. Lienteuont Perris, tho war correspondent's only son, was killed as a result of a collision with another aviator in the air. RIAD ON ZEPPELIN SHEDS. LONDON, July 21. The Admiralty reports: Aeroplanes from the Grand Fleet operating off the Jutland coast on July 19th, made two attacks on Zeppelin sheds at Tondarn, in Schleswig, and secured direct hits on three sheds. Owing to anti-aircriTt fire and dense smoke it was impossible to ascertain whether the destruction was complete,' but it was assured that two Zeppelins were destroyed. Four British machines failed to return, and of these three landed in Danish territory.
