FIGHTING IN SIBERIA. (By Cable.—Presa Association.—Copyright.) (Reuter's Telegrams.) LONDON, July 21. A Vladivostock correspondent srtates that 4000 Czecho-Slovaks hold the railway between Samara and Irkutsk. Some 12,000 Czecho-Slovaks from Vladivoptock are fighting the Bolsheviks at Khabarovsk. They occupied Spasskaia after a stubborn fight and propose to link up with the Czechoslovaks from Irkutsk. There are 47,000 Bolsheviks and exprisoners between Khakarovsk and Irkutsk. (Received July 22nd, 9.10 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, July 21. • A report from Moscow states that the Czecho-Slovaks have captured Birsk. (Received July 22nd, 9.55 p.m.) PEKING, July 18. The Czecho-Slovak forces occupied Klutshevsk in the south-west. The trans-Baikal Bolsheviks are now concentrating at Terhenudinsk. Semenoff, the anti-Bolshevik leader, has occupied Sharosun. NEW YORK, July 16. Mr Shaplen,* the United Press Stockholm correspondent, states that tho Russian Press expects the German occupation of Moscow and Petrograd, due to rapid developments in the Murman situation. Bolsheviks are co-operating with the Germans, permitting them to travel northward by the Murman railways through Petrograd and the Zetanko Junction. Cholera has appeared in many cities besides Petrograd.

THE EX-CZARINA. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Reuter'a Telegrams.) (Received July 22nd, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 21. An official message states that the ex-Czarina and her son have now been sent to a place of security. The Central Executive Committee is in possession of important documents concerning the ex-Czar's affairs, including his and the ex-Czarina's diaries and his correspondence, including Rasputin's letter to tho ex-Czar and family. All will be shortly published. AFFAIRS IN FINLAND. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) COPENHAGEN, July 21. A Bill, establishing a monarchy for Finland, on the Prussian model, was withdrawn, failing to secure tho statutory majority in the Diet, although the Government is preventing many Socialist mombers from attending.
