Sir Douglas Haig reports:— "We bombed many targets, including dumps at Armentieres and Mericourt, railway stations at Posieres and Braye, and docks at Bruges and Ostend. "We drove down nine aeroplanes. Seven British machines are missing. "Our night-fliers dropped eight tons of bombs on the Mons-Valenciennes railway, and six tons on the Courtrai section and Lille railways. Two of our aeroplanes have not returned." The Air Ministiy reports:— "On the night of Julv 10th we bombed the Benz works at Mannheim, the i ailway station at Heidelburg, blast furnaces at Burbach and Wadgousen, and also an aerodrome. Two trains wete hit by bombs and brought to a standstill, and fired on by our machine-guns. "We attacked a powder factory at Oberndorf, and bursts were observed on the buildings." PARIS, July 19. An air-raid warning was given at) midnight, and "all clear" at 12.45 a.m. Italian official reports states that the Italian naval airships and aeroplanes dropped eight thousand diogrammes of bombs on military works and maritime forces at Pola. ANOTHER ZEPPELIN LOST. (Received July 21st, 5.5 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, July 19. A burning Zeppelin fell near Daielheim. . , 4 , . , LONDON, July 19. A Palestine official report says:— "We bombed the El-Kutrani and Amman stations, . hitting troop ' trains, camps, and aerodromes."
