On creditable information it is stated tliat Turkey's situation is lamentable. Epidemics and famine have caused wholesale doaths. The population is depressed at the British successes in Mesopotamia and Syria. Enver Bey "has demanded reinforcements, stating that otherwise ho cannot control the situation. General Liman von Sanders has gone to Berlin to support Enver Bey's demands. Talaat Bey and prominent .Young Turks are declaring against Gerjnany.
