AFFAIRS IN FRANCE. MUNITIONS DEPOT DESTROYED. (By Cab!*.—Press Association.—Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.^ (Received March 17th, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, March 15. Two terrific explosions, followed by fires, occurred in a munitions depot at St. Denis. Glass was shattered overyI where, and shop fronts demolished in a score of streets. There was intense excitement. At first it -was thought that German aeroplanes had reached the city without warning. At leafct 30 persons were killed, and many were injured, though their wounds were mostly slight. AN UNLUCKY BUILDING. (Reuter'a Telegrams.) (Received March 17th, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, March 15. Luckily, there were few people working in the St. Donis factory at the timo of the explosion. The building replaced one destroyed by an explosion in 1916.
