I^RL T IDS , SOCIAL. • pleasant social evening'was spent in tne Druids' the occasion beinp the presentation of a Pa«t District Presiaent s collar to Sister Gobbie, of the Queen of the Oak Lodge. Bro. F. George, 0.P., in making the presentation, referred in glowing terms to the good work done by Sister Gobhie during her term of office, and remarked that it was a unique event in the annals of Dnudism in New Zealand, as to Sister Gobbio fell the distinction of being the first lady Druid to attain, such a high honour. Bro. Harland, P.G.P., in conveying the greetings of the Grand Lodge o£ Otago and Southland to the Queen of the Oa"k Lodge and to Sister Gobble, remarked that he trusted it would not be the last time that tho honour of District President would fall on a member of the Qneen of the Oak Lodge. A programme of songs and recitations mado the evening pass very pleasantly, while the items given by Brother Williams's Orchestra were quite a feature of the evening. Arch. Druidess Sister A. Furceaus presided the meeting. '
