I Frank Vaughan, a single man, -10, was burned to death in a l]Ut, at Totara Valley, la&t evening. .Neighbours saw the place burning, and ran over and saw Vaughan trying to get out, but before they reached him he fell, asphyxiated. "Wnen the fire burned out, his charred remains were found. WAIMATE, March 10. A man named Harry Wilson, aged 3-j, employed on ilr Martin Crowes farm at Morven, was run over by a train at 6.30 this evening at Studholmc Junction. He was awaiting the train from Timaru to return to Morven, but when the train from Oamanr arrived he boarded it, and, after it had travelled some distance, realised that he was on tho wrong train. On attempting to leave the train he fell near the rails, and when trying to get up had a leg run over above tho knee and a hand badly hurt. It is expected the leg will have to be amputated. He now lies in the Waimate Hospital. Every member of the family should drink KOLA-NIP. It adds vim and vigour to the constitution. Snappy — delicious —wholesome. Buy a bottle today.
