The Minister said the dc.ath rate fi om tuberculosis in New Zealand had fallen from 16 per 10,0uu of population in 1875, to 6J in 1915, and the death rate from cancer had steadilv ricon 2 per 10,000 in 1875, to 8.9 .in l!)lo.
