THE STORY OF RASPUTIN.
A SINISTER INFLUENCE IN
JI ODE UN RUSSIA
Following the Gerard Memoirs,
which have been read with intense interest by our readers, we have sevured the copyright of "The Amazing Story cf Rasputin," by the Princess Catherine Rsdziwill. Mr Gerard's book has given us a deeply interesting picture of Germany during the war and an insight into German psychology. The Princess Radziwill's work makes an excellent pendant to Mr Gerard's, inasmuch as it throws new light on the strange carcer of the "Black Monk" of Russia, who ruled the nation from behind the throne, and no doubt had a groat deal to do with bringing about the revolution. Publication of "The Amazing Story of Raspucin" will begin on Saturday week, February 2nd. and will be continued daily until it is finished. As owing to the scarcity of paper only sufficient copies cf "The Press" are printed for regular subscribers, it is requested that orders for additional c-opies may be sent in at once to the manager.
