Ail Italian official report states: — "In order to rectify our line from northward of Osteriaillepro to the head of tho Osilla Valley, we advanced and gained considerable advantages, inflicting heavy losses. "We entered onemy trenches in the Solarolo salient, and also extended our bridgehead eastward of Caposile, and captured trenches." COUNTER-ATTACK REPULSED. Admiralty per WLrel-esa Prose. (Received January 18th, 1.20 a.m.) LONDON, January 17. An Italian official report states: — "We repulsed a counter-attack in tho region of Monte Asolone and Caposile. THE ENEMY VERSION. LONDON, January 16. A wireless German official report states:— "Violent Italian attacks against the Austro-Hungarians at Monte Asolone and Monte Pertica broke down, with hoavy losses." Later. "We repulsed the Italians south of Monte Fontana6ecca."
