REV. GRAY-3>IXON ELECTED. MODERATOR. \ (PBZSS ASSOCIATION tBLBOBiX.) /DO NED IN, November 24. At tho Presbyterian Assembly ~to-daJ it was announced that the Presbyteries had nominated for the Modcratorship in 1918. Professor Bewiteon, the Revs. J. A. Ashor, J. Cumming, Currio, and R. S. Gray-Dixon. Tho first four of these withdrew their names, and the, Rev. was elected Moderator. The Assembly appointed Mr John Bissett, of Auckland, Assembly Evangelist, at a salary of £300, with travelling expenses, and £50 house allowances. The Rev. J. Cumming was oppointed an Assembly Evangelist without -financial responsibility. - «
