OBITUARY.
MR W. A. P. CLARKSON. Mr "William A. P. Clarkson, the wellknown Christehurch architect, died suddenly early this morning at his residence, Rugby street. He wa s 54 years of age. MR MICHAEL KEANE. The death occurred yesterday afternoon, at his home at "Cahir Bann " Springfield, of Mr Michael Jvoane. an old resident of the district. Mi- Keanc who was born in tho County of Clare, Ireland, left home for Australia in the CD's, and left Australia for Now Zealand in 1860. Ho made his home in Hokitika, and later at Olira. and in 1553 he settled in Springfield, which has been bis homo for the past ,"4 years, Mr Ke.tne's wife predeeeasrd him 111 IffOfj. and ht!. leaves a grown-up family of five sons and three daughters.
