Public meetings, colled under the auspices of tlio Labour Representation Committee, field at Blackball, Grey/nouth and Runanga, passed re'sojutioiiu requesting Mr I\ C. Wobb to stand again for the Grey seat. A petition, signed by Ibo Mayor of Greymouth, the chairmen of the Harbour Board, Chamber "of Commerce, the County Council, nnd tho president of the Port Watersiders' Union, is in circulation, asking Mr T. E. Coates to stand and represent all classes and hot one section only. ' WELLINGTON, November 7. Tho Wellington Labour Representation Committee passed the following resolution"That tho Wellington Labour Representation Committee, whose activities aro in close proximity to Parliament, having closely watched the' work performed by Mr P. Q. "\Vebb, M P., considers that his work has been admirable in tho interosts of the workers, and heartily congratulates tho electors of Grey in again soleoting hiin to contest tho Parliamentary scat, and hopes that his constituents will return him at tho top of the poll."
