"Our aeroplanes bombed an aerodrome at Courtrai. Eight enemy machines wore brought down, and six of our are missing.

"Our aeroplane squadrons, last night, attacked factories and railway communications in tho vicinity of Saarbrucken with excellent results. Naval machines dropped over 3J tons of explosives on the Burbach. works, westward of vSaarbruckcn, causing considerable damage and many fires. ceeding to Saarbruckcn. A total ci five tons was dropped." Saarbruckcn is in Prussia, 49 miles north-cast of Mctz, at tho south end of tho most extensive coal fields in Europe. Its population is about 30,000.
