SABBATH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION.
LAST NIGHT'S -DEMONSTRATION.
The Christchurch Presbyterian Sabbath School Association held its annual demonstration and presentation of prizes won in the Assembly's examinations la-st night. There -was a splendid attendance of young people from nearly all the Presbyterian Sabbath schools in tho city and suburbs, as well as many parents and friends. Mr Geo. Burns, president, occupied the chair, and presented the special, prizes given by the Association to the scholars gaining the liighest aggregate marks in each division in the Christchurch Presbytery. An address to •parents and children was given by the Rev. N. 0. White, of Riccarton, and during the evening anthems were frequently sung by the St. Paul's boy choir. The prizes won in the various schools were presented by tho wife of the president, Mrs Geo.
