Cloud (0-10) ..0 7 The readings taken at the Aehburton Domain weather station at 9 a.m. yesterday, ■were: —Barometer 29.53, thermometer—maximum 51, minimum 39. Bain, o.2in. Frost-, sdeg. SUMMARY AXD FORECAST. Fair to cloudy conditions ruled on Saturday. On Sunday disturbances passed both uorth and southwards of the Dominion, and were responsible for unsettled weather, and scattered rainfall, but heavy rain and northerly gales were experienced in the northernmost districts. Improved conditions have been reported to-day. J Present indications are for freshening nor-' therly and westerly winds, and a falling barometer everywhere soon. Fair weather is probable for a brief period in tho Kast Const districts, but unsettled! and equally conditions are likely t-o follow generally, with rain soon in tho western and southernmost districts.
