"Half a million people witnessed a parade of troops representing 134 regiments. A spccial ovation was accorded to the maimed troops. British and American officers were showered with flowers. Newspapers state that the Moivtenegrins' sufferings are greater than either the Belgians' or Serbians 1 . Tho people are starving, and there aro hundreds of deaths daily. Tho Italian Government has been urged to draw the attention of tho Allies and neutrals with a view to their sending rolief.
