There "were enthusiastic celebrations of tho anniversary of the Frcnch Revolution in the various capitals. In connexion with tho Sydney cclooration, the Government presented to the French nation an acre of ground, on wliich stands the monument of the navigator La Perouse. "WEST AUSTRALIA'S .FINANCES. PERTH, July 14. Tho revenue returns show a deficit for tho year of £699,749. The acciinnu latod deficit now amounts to £2.060,714. £200,000 RAISED. (Received Julv loth, il.o p.m.) SYDNEY. July 14. It is anticipated that the France's Dav collections will finally total in tho vicinity of £200,000. .
