Massey, telegraphing from the Palestine front, says: — "The British army occupies a series of crescent-shaped positions from the sea towards Beersheba. Both sides are deeply entrenched and wired in. "The British forces continue tlio policy of giving the Turks no re§t. Our nicrht raids are invariably successful. "'The British front i s excellently orgfvniscd. The troops are .well watered despite the difficulties of transport."
