A. 13. liaik-y. S.M.) John McDermott pleaded guilty to a charge of breaking his prohibition order, and was ordered to come up tor sentence if called upon. John llc:-il;j[> admitted that a call belonging to him had strayed on to the public road, and had come in contact with a railway engine at the Lake road crossing. * A conviction was entered. For a breach of the Grocers' Assistants' Award. i:i failing to pay the award rate of p?*y to otnplovoes, Samuel Johnston (Air Sinithson). who admitted the offence, was kned £55 and costs. Mr Jackson represented the Department of Labour. "W. 'I'. Sloe (Mr Hmithe«n) claimed £14 JOs fid from Richard Eauy, junr. (Mr Freeman). ua£«M- a judgment summons, and F. H.
