PICTURE CENSORSHIP.

At a meeting of the Ministers'.Association held yesterday afternoon, a discussion took place on the question of film censorship, special reference being made to a picture which is to be shown in the city this week. The following resolution was carried unanimously: "That the Christchnrch Ministers' Association regard the appearance in Christchurch of the picture 'Intolerance' with great indignation. The whole tone and plea of the picture, its caricature of Christ's meaning, and it wanton resuscitation of Babylonian abominations iave rendered it everywhere obnoxious. The Association believes that the appearance of the picture proves the need for closer censorship in the Dominion.''
