IMPENDING RETIREMENT FROM CABINET. (ffIFZCMX. TO "TTTB PRESS.") WELLINGTON, June 4. It has been suggested that the Hon. A. L. Herdman would bo retiring from the Cabinet to take a seat'on the Supremo Court Bench before the Houso assembled for the coming session of Parliament. Thiß is not correct. The date of Mr Herdman's retirement is not yet announced, but he is not 'earing the Cabinet before the session.
