A hearty vote of thaviks v.-ay accorded ileESrs Wray and Hopkins for their valuable ecrviccs. Mr London then occupied tho chair. Tho executive of the Show Committee reported that £490 2s Gd. tho net proceeds of the Chri3tchurch Apple Show, had been forwarded to~ the KM v-ross Society. A letter oi thanks for tlio chequo waa received from Mrs A. Hoyie, the president of the Women's Branch of the lied Cross Socicty. Tho eubject of tho proposed ruirß for the standardising of fruit throughout the Dominion was ducncscd, and it was readied to support, the movement hoertiiy, ;\nd a Bu')-cominittce v/J3 formed to coueidcr tho matter. ilr Wray ventilated tlie matter or charging for fruit cases. Ho stated that the matter had been dealt with at the Dominion Conference, when it was rceolved to charjjo 6d per case in future. Mr C.ourtier woa accorded a hearty voto ot tbanl:s for tho services he had rendered ihe Association since he had been connected with it. Ttv chairman, in a eulogistic epc-sch. paid that Mr Courtier had been iuptrun'.ental in getting a large number of men:Ws for the Association, ard lind a:«o dcr.e splendid work in cocccxion with tbo local show. A eub-conimittec was so! up to rcvieo the Aesociation's rules, and brir" them into coformity with the other Associations affiliated to tho Federation. The committee wrs instructed to report to the nest meeting of the Association.
