"Baby Mine" was first produced in New York, after -which it ran to a long season in London, played by Mr Weedon Grossmith and Marguerite Clark, now famous in the "movies." It was in London that the J. C. Williamson firm acquired the Australasinn rights. Margaret Mayo wrote the comedy in three acts; a sitting-room and two bedrooms, and the cast includes several babies who belong to everybody but the right parties. A wife desires to adont a child to her husband. The husband arrives home before the infant is obtained. The telephone is set going, and there is a frantic rush to the home by all and sundry "to anv old place for r.ny babv." Tho fun begins when the babies begin to multiply. 'Naturally the comedy would ho incomplete without a kidnapping episode, but it would not be fair to give the plot away, as surprise counts for so much in pieces of this description. I
