Tho Hamburg journal, "Fremdenblat," in a frenzied article, accuses the British of horrible brutality to German prisoners in Belgium and Frr.uce. The article alleges that the English are even crucifying prisoners and cutting off their noses, ears and tongues,
gouging out their eyes, and nailing to their breasts eagles from German helmets. The article adds: "They, arc teaching us how to carry out tho 'Lex talionis' when tho tramp of the German troops reaches the streets of London."
