NEW ZEALAND LAJJIES' ASSOCIATION. The annual general meeting of tho Jfcw Zealand Ladies' Hockey Association wzs held at Wellington last week. The following a-seociations were rppreverted :—Auckland, Wellington, Buller, Canterbury, South Canterbury, Otago, Southland. The report and balance-shcet was adopted with tho exception that tho money at present deposited with a mortgage and investinent company and falling duo-'on September 11th, 1917, is to be withdrawn on that data Mid to be deDoeited with the Post Office Savings Bank. The Chairman congratulated the' secretary and members of tho comruttce on the way the report and balance-sheet was presented, ""d ou the successful financial condition. Tho balanec-aheet showed a credit ba-'ance of £46 16s 2d at the bank and tho euin of £155 4a Id _ on. fixed deposit. The election of officers Tosulted as follows: —Patron, her Excellency the Countess of Liverpool (xe-electod); president, Mr T. 11. Wilford, M.P. (re-el<y:ted); executive committee, Misses Saunders, Harvey, Mack ay, Simcox' (re-elected), Mcintosh:" secretary. Mtss Moor* (r»*-^l»ctod); treasurer. Miss Fulton; auditor, Mr H. A. Lamb (rc-elcctcd). It wao dccidod to place on iccord the valu»ble and appreciated 6ervices of Miss Saunders, who had acted as treacurer, but owing to special work was unable to fill the position for the coming wanor.. A recommendation was made that if possible a North and South Island tourney should be held, the winners to play one m&tch in "Wellington and one in Christ* church.
