EGG MABKET. The egg supply has fallen considerably during the past week, -while the demand is remarkably good. Canterbury Bgg Circlo first grades are realising 2s 6d seconds 2s 3d per dozen. The price in the North Island has advanced to 2s 9d -wholesale, and 3s retail. CHR rSTCHURCH STOCK . EXCHANGE. YESTERDAY'S TRANSACTIONS. Buyers were again to tho fore yesterday. There -was an enquiry for Bank of New Zealand (£3 6a 8d paid) at £12, but no seller. In Brewery stocks, Manning's were offered at £* es div., and "Ward's were eotjghi at £5 15e. Micro was again an unsatisfied demand for Kaiapoi Woollens at £6 11a Gd for ordinaries. and £6 2s 6d for preference.
