Jenkins, of "Fair View," Wacldington, has received cabled advice thai his son Frank was removed from the "\7alton-on-Thames Hospital on April 25th to the Horn church Convalescent Depot. Trooper W. J. B. Sinclair died at tho Coronation Hospital, Cashmere Hills, on Sunday, after a protracted Alness. He ■was a member of the Main Expeditionary Force, and saw service at Gallipoti, uaere he contracted the illness which . ultimately led to his death. The body will be taken to Outram, for interment. The C.D.C. has arranged to send a wreath. The deceased was a nephew of Mr Donald Sinclair, £ne well-inown sheep buyer. Private Andrew McLaren, who was accidentally killed at Lower Hutt on April 28th, wag the eighth son of Mrs THin. McLaren, of Dunedin. Hfe was the fourth of her sons who have been killed, leaving "four eons serving King and country. Private Andrew McLaren was well known in the building trade in Dunedin.
Trooper Stanley C. H. Maynard, wounded in Egypt on April 19th, left with the 4th Reinforcements. He spent his nineteenth birthday in camp. He was educated at the Richmond School and the Christchurch Boys' High School. He has been in Egypt practically all the time, having only got as far as Lemnos, when our troops were withdrawn from Gallipoli.
