BOARI> OF TRADE CONSIDERATION. (PBJESS ASSOCIATION TZLEGRAH.) DUNEDIX, May 7. In reply to a letter from the Chamber of Commerce on the subject of purchasing wheat in Australia, Sir James Allen says the letter has been referred to tho Board of Trade, and steps arc being taken to secure a sufficiency of wheat or flour to make up the shortage till next season's crop is available.
The Chamber was also advised that the Board of Trade was divided on the question of the advisability, at the present, of the Government acquiring control of New Zealand wheat not aiready in the har.ds of millers.
