RESERVISTS AND THEIR CERTIFICATES.
A STUPENDOUS TASK
(PI'.ESd ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, -May 7. Thousands of .members of the INew Zealand Expeditionary Force Reserve have not yet received their certificates of enrolment. 'lho actual number is said to be surprisingly large, even when allowances arc- luaue. The. Government Statistician says that he rccened about 200,000 applica. tions for ccitilicatcs of enrolment, and the task has been stupendous. Ouitiricates have been forwardeu to the Post Offices named by reservists m every ease where the applicant could be identified as a member of the reserve, but great difficulty has been created by insufficient addresses, variation of * names, duplications and changes of addresses. The Statistician adds: "If a man has not received his certificate, let him ask himself if he has given all the information he ought to have given, or taken all the he has been directed to take.'"
