A HEAH.iIA NCEMENT. A supplement to the "Gazette" states that for various purposes (vital statistics, etc.) metropolitan areas have created at each of the four chief centres, and suburban areas at nine of the mere important secondary centres. .Each area i::. iuu<R, in addition to the central borough and suburban boroughs, a considerably «on-m;in:cipa!ised area adjacent to and contingent on the centre.
