Brnco and Geo. Armstrong (skip), the present holders, and J. R. Newton and J. Freeman (skip). An interesting game resulted in an easy win for the former team by S3 points to 11. Thifl is tho third time that Armstrong and Bruce havei successfully defended their right to wear the badges. Among the many visitors to Akaroa jnst now are some enthusiastic bowlers, two of whom. Manson and Christie, tried conclusions in a friendly bout with the two local Tcierane. J. D. Bruce and Geo. Armstrong, ultimately winning a keenly-contested Same by 20 points to 14.
