Refugees who have arrived at Salonica from Athens give terrible accounts of fiie Greek disorders. They estimate that 150 Yenizelists were-killed daring the massacre, -whicli was characterised hv systematic attacks and persecutions. It is reported that King Constantino's aide-de-camp had ten pro-Yeni-zelist soldiers shot. A Greek deputy, perceiving his (?) mother and sister leaving a dangerous neighbourhood, pointed them out as Veniaelists. and left them to the fury of the Royalist mob.
