A French communique states:— "The Serbians completely repulsed three violent German and Bulgarian counter-attacks in the region of Stravina. "Bad weather is preventing operations." A SERBIAN MESSAGE. LONDON, December 8. A Serbian communique states: — "There was hard fighting on the whole front. The enemy was reinforced and made several attempts to recapture lost positions north of Gnmista. All the attacks were repulsed with heavy enemy losses. "Fighting continues." IN ENEMY OFFENSIVE? (Australian and N.Z. Call* Association.) PARIS, December 8. j The "Petit Parisien" says thatenemy ] activity on the Monastir front may be tho prelude to violent attacks, especially as a neutral source reports that General von Falkcnhayn commands the troops opposing General Sarrail, and that the enemy are apparently being strongly reinforced.
